API-003 is a natural compound identified from a Chinese medicinal herb that is traditionally used to treat inflammation.  The identified compound API-003 is a competitive inhibitor of IFN-g and inhibits cytokine signaling. The APIs are being developed for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, asthma and other autoimmune diseases.
